| Wisconsin Coalition Against
Sexual Assault |
| |
|
WCASA is a non-profit organization providing
information about sexual assault. WCASA has a large web site
with many pages. The site navigation logic is confusing and
information can be difficult to find because it is spread
out. Site graphics and layouts are out-of-date and do not
serve the organization's purpose.
The project goal is to reduce the number of pages and make
the site easy to use. My role is to help the public awareness
coordinator organize and combine the site's information, redesign
the web interface, and simplify the navigation logic.
I am working to develop a service that allows site users
to contact the organization and ask for help or information
anonymously. The project also includes creating a newsletter
system that people can join. |

| A Touch Of Heaven |
| |
|
A hairdresser is starting her own business and wanted to establish
an online marketing presence, and provide appointment scheduling
and some products online.
I am working with the owner to develop her web site and research
providers offering the site services she wants. The Touch of Heaven
web site will contain online appointment scheduling, gift certificate
purchasing, contact information, and a list of available services.
I am designing the web site layout, and I also will create consistent
layouts for appointment scheduling and the shopping cart. |

| Grizzworks |
| |
|
A Wisconsin wood sculptor would like to establish a web presence
to expand his selling volume, market his products to a wider audience,
and provide product information.
I am working with the artist to develop the entire site. The Grizzworks
site will contain the following:
- An online, database-driven portfolio.
- Information about the business, artist(s), and product care
instructions.
- A contact page to submit and manage customer questions. The
contact page will supplement phone conversations, giving potential
customers another way to contact the artist and his staff.

| E. M. Wasylik Associates
LLP |
| |
|
An international business consulting company
wanted to expand their marketing onto the web. E.M. Wasylik
Associates wanted to have an easy channel to provide information
about their company and services.
I worked with a managing partner to develop a web solution
that will provide information about the company and their
services. Having the information on the web gives the partners
confidence that they are meeting the expectations of their
potential clients. |

| Probiquity
LLC, Madison |
| |
|
A Wisconsin-based enterprise software company
wanted to refresh it's existing web site and needed a more
efficient way to promote its products. They were also looking
for a channel to provide a product demonstration to potential
customers.
Working with the three partners, I designed and produced
new web pages with updated layouts, information structures,
and services. The web solution also included an informational
flash demo. The demo shows the product interface and different
features of the software.
In the feedback section customers are able to address specific
question to specific departments. Customers are also able
to request more customized, business solution information.
After launching the web site, the company has seen an increase
in the number of contacts from potential customers and investors.
With the help of this web page, Probiquity has saved money
by directing marketing emphasis to the web. |

Probiquity chanced their name in april 2004, and they changed
their web site. |

The other project that I did for Probiquity was a user interface
design for their web solution. This design is not on the web, Probiquity
is using it for promoting their program to potential customers. |

| City
of Pori Environmental Office |
| |
|
|
The municipal environmental office needed their web pages
updated and also a better way to serve people living in the
community.
I worked with the department chief and staff to design new
web pages, provide new services, and update graphics and information.
Added services included a feedback section and an air quality
page. The air quality page is updated daily by the department
staff and reports the city's air quality index.
The web site was updated by combining a lot of information,
making the site more efficient. New content was added to provide
information about the environmental office and the services
they offer to the community.
Some of the department's permit and complaint forms were
not provided in digital form. People are now able to download
and complete the forms before contacting the office. Having
the forms online streamlined the permit/complaint registration
process, lowering processing costs.
After launching the new web site, the Environmental Office
Chief and Staff felt they were better serving people in the
community.

| Home Improvement Expo |
| |
|
| I designed and produced coherent marketing
materials for a national exposition, including web pages,
a poster, a brochure, and tickets. The Web site made IT possible
for the public to review in advance information about the
exhibitors and their locations in the expo hall.
The Web site made it possible for exhibitors to contact the
expo organization, and make reservations.
